Confronting a Dangerous World: Lessons from Ronald Reagan’s Foreign Policy

November 2, 2023 @ 7 p.m. | Grove City College

Crawford Auditorium | Crawford Hall

The world has always been a dangerous place, but the stakes today seem higher than ever before. With war raging in Ukraine and Israel, China’s increasingly aggressive actions, Iran’s support of terrorism, and other significant threats to American national security, effective foreign policy has never been more important. Leading in an age of nuclear proliferation, President Ronald Reagan faced the devastating threats of the Soviet Union in the protracted Cold War, and he and his administration handled them in a way that secured peace and expanded prosperity. What can we today learn from the Reagan policies of the 1980s?

Join us at Grove City College on November 2 for a fascinating discussion with Reagan experts and academic historians Dr. William Inboden, author of the acclaimed bestselling book, The Peacemaker: Ronald Reagan, The Cold War, and the World on the Brink (2022), and Dr. Kiron Skinner, a longtime leading Reagan biographer, as well as Grove City College trustee. Inboden and Skinner both served as White House policy advisors. They will have a conversation on today’s international threats with Grove City College’s Dr. Paul Kengor and President Paul McNulty for our 16th annual Ronald Reagan Lecture. This is an event that you don’t want to miss.

SPEAKER BOOKS: We will not have a book table at the event. You may purchase Dr. Inboden's book on Amazon by clicking here. If you bring the book to the event, Dr. Inboden has agreed to sign it after the event. Thank you.
